1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone or iPhone.
2. Click on the direct message icon on the top right of your screen.
3. Tap on the create group or Plus sign icon at the right of your screen.
4. Now you have the list of the suggested people. You can tap the circle next to their names to add them to the chat group you are making.
5. You can also search for the user on the search bar to add them to the group.
6. Once you added the users, tap on the chat at the top right of the screen.
7. The group will be created when you send your first message.
8. Once the group is created you would see the option to name the group at the top of the screen. You can name your group by clicking there.

 

How to Invite Someone on an Existing Chat Group

 

1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone or iPhone.
2. Click on the direct message icon on the top right of your screen.
3. Tap on the already existing chat group.
4. Tap on the group info at the top of your screen.
5. Tap on the Add People option.
6. Select people and tap on Done.
